It's Squeeze Me Time

Welcome to My World

Hello everyone! My name is Jamila and I am here to share my experiences with having a child on the Autism Spectrum. If you are a parent of a child on the spectrum then you know that this is NOT an easy job. You have your good and bad days. Some days you may even feel like giving up; but we are here to love and support our children the best way we can. For starters I have a six year old son named Isaiah who is on the spectrum. He was diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old and this was a hard pill to swallow. I immediately had mommy guilt and was asking God why me but I knew that this was something that I could not change and I knew that I would try my best to get all the services that would help him. I was so excited that I was able to get him into early intervention before his third birthday. Those few months that he was in the program was such an asset to him and I am so grateful for that.

I hope you enjoyed a snippet of my experience and I am happy to share more. This blog was created to help others that are going through the same thing. You are not alone.

Stay tuned next week for more of It's Squeeze Me Time!
